I would say laying the bike down would be pretty easy if one were trying... rear brake like a champ and goose the bar, it'll go down... Why anyone would every want to do that is beyond me, but whatever... Stupid is as stupid does.

What about the tractor in the road, or the sack of decoys at highway speeds

My guess is, she left it down there when she tried to recover the bike the first time.

It was a woman? That explains it.. There were probably signs for 12 miles, "Only hole in the fucking dessert, straight ahead.."

Honestly that tractor situation could have actually been the right time, if there is any, to dump the bike. Geese worked out exactly as planned. Hammered the brakes, hit the sack while releasing the front brake and coasted to a stop. :rickroll:

Wow, this thread is fucking retarded.

Rubber on pavement slows you much faster than plastic/metal on pavement... period.

I'd rather hit something head on at a slower rate of speed & maintain the possibility of avoid it all together than pitch it down and slide underneath it at a much faster rate.

And I've never met another rider that knew what they were doing who didn't feel the same way, regardless of how old their bike's technology was back when they first started.

According to derf, just remove the back brake and have the front brake lever come off in your hand
