I agree with G-rex and Adeptus_Minor. I still have the hydro clutch with a SS line and I don't seem to mind it. I'm not a wheelie person either, but it does fine for me. SS lines all around on the TL and it seemed to brake and shift better.
Also, probably the best mod I've done to the TL other than the full exhaust, gutted airbox, BMC filter and Yoshi Remap is to get rid of that big ass rotary damper and replace it with an Ohlins. I'm by no means a hardcore canyon carver, but in the little bit that I do go after, I could tell a difference between the rotary and Ohlins. And as far a G-rex comparing his TLR to a RC-51 is just a little unfair. He might be a little bias when it comes to his TL and a RC-51. His TL might not be what most would call "stock", or even close to. Its a pretty badass machine. :whatwhat: |
It's amazing what the right modifications can do. :D

Nice dude. always feels good to get back in the saddle. i'm hoping to go for a rip on the duc next weekend if weather allows.
as for the clutch argument... cable clutch is highly preferred to me... anyone ever try to do a race start with hydraulic clutch? Holy shit is that hard... the friction zone is a cunthair's width... it always resulted in a couple pogoing wheelies when I raced my buddys 560smr |
