I'll know tomorrow, but I believe I'll have both a 2008 and 2009 1125R available.

PM me if you are interested. I'll even pick you up at the airport.

To be honest, I'm pretty sure that I'll hate the damn thing. I honestly think that I'll be able to unload it for the same money next year. Besides, I'll be going from liter bike to liter bike and will be able to give a REAL comparison.

Comparing bikes is like comparing pussy.
It's just bad form.
Enjoy each one for its own merits.

Those bitches will be delivering my bike to me... Gas' guy is willing to ship through the Harley network if I'm not mistaken and the dealer back home is checking into it right now. I may be looking at about $6500 otd-shipped! We'll see...:rockwoot:

Hey greg, how does it compare to the TLR?

and what is a noid?

(cutting and pasting from my previous thread describing it)
The 1125R feels like what I wished my TL1000R could have. Maybe it could have, but I didn't have the money or know-how to get it there.
It takes little or no effort to toss it around, it balances easily when stopped, and feels like it weighs half of what it does.
(and I can't really 'compare' the two because it would be bad form) ;)

And the 'noid is an EPA noise reducing component that cuts your throttle response when you crank the throttle more than halfway in 3rd gear.
Just about everyone on the Buell forums recommends removing it.
After my experience today, I'll have to agree with them.

No it's not... I like strawberry ice cream better than vanilla, I like blonds better than brunettes and I'd rather have a manual than an automatic transmission. It's ridiculous to tell me that I'm not allowed or it's wrong for me to evaluate my bikes. It's almost like you guys are afraid to have people compare your bikes to other brands. I welcome comparisons of my present bike, tires, brakes, helmet, whatever... The weak never want to be compared... Hey, I don't have to take on this attitude in order to own one of these things do I?

Compare all you want, man, I'm just giving you shit.
Frankly, I'm very pleased with my choice and your like or dislike of it won't change my enjoyment.
