Um last I remember the Shaq bike had a bunch of Superman symbols on it...

Apoc 09-10-2009 03:29 PM

he has a few. A stretched busa too I think.

pdog 09-11-2009 05:49 AM

Who would buy it? It's set up for a 7ft man - no one could fit it.

The frame is so large that it looks like one of those sad 250cc chinese choppers.

read the e-bay ad... mentions putting up a few motorcycles for auction... maybe he rides as well as he raps and finally decided to save us all and quit both

Apoc 09-11-2009 08:43 AM

Like I said, ride it or not, why sell it? dude has 100+ million dollars, and that probably putting it small.

Somehow it has an estimated 425 miles over 8 years, but has never been titled  so apparently he never did ride it.

And the answer is staring you right in the face... the thing is fucking ugly as shit.

ugly yes. Still custom made for him though, and useless to most anybody who isnt either his size, or a collector.

but if I had his money, im sure more than one of the dozens of bikes in my playhouse would have less than 425 miles on it. Sometimes, its nice to have something, if it gets used or not. I'd have a ton of old indians, harleys, hondas etc, that would probably never get ridden to more than the odd toy run or bike show. Its not like i'd need more money.

Just pointing out, why sell stuff for moeny, when you have the ridiculous earning power he does.

Tmall 09-11-2009 12:41 PM

Choppers aren't trendy anymore..

There's your answer.

Apoc 09-11-2009 01:04 PM

Its the right answer too...

I like choppers. Real, oldschool, 70's backyard minimalist choppers. This new stuff is an abomination.

That said, if I had one, i'd still ride it.

Mr Lefty 09-11-2009 01:20 PM

Maybe he doesn't have room for it.... But also... Even when ya don't need the money.... Why keep something ya don't want:idk:

I'd have donated it to charity to sell... Get the tax break at least

OreoGaborio 09-11-2009 11:11 PM

Jesus, the dude's selling it, who cares why? Obviously he's got a reason.

TYEster 09-12-2009 12:10 AM

I'll be the first to say, it's actually not a bad deal for $80k.

You're right it's setup for a 7ft tall guy... You can't walk into WCC today and order the same thing for less than 6-figures. You can have your own opinions about Jesse and his shop, but there isn't American produced machine/metal that rivals it.

If I had his money, I would have a Wayne Rainey YZF500 in my living room with less mileage.

I've seen this one. First, shaq's bike is fugly. Second, I would sell my SO for this one...

Sixxxxer 09-12-2009 08:45 AM

He's probably selling it b/c it's the LA Colors and he plays for Cleveland now ;)

Scot 09-12-2009 09:03 AM

OreoGaborio 09-12-2009 09:39 AM

That thing's pretty cool, Scott... that a triumph motor?

Scot 09-12-2009 10:13 AM

from a 68 bonnie, yeah. Frame is an early 70s amen savior. sultan shoe springer front end. It was actually made into a chopper in the 70s. I just restored it. That was the original paint scheme. It sat in a barn in the midwest for almost 30 years.

marko138 09-14-2009 04:09 PM

Supremely ugly.

Pff. WCC/OCC/Big Dog/ten thousand others all churn out essentially the same bike. Same turd, different polish.

Now, Confederate Motorcycles... they actually lay out some innovation and engineering to earn those crazy bucks.

THIS HAS BEEN DONE EVERY YEAR SINCE VENGEANCE CYCLE WORKS HAS BEEN SERVICING THIS.
So the bike has only 425 miles, yet all those services were done each year? Pointless.

Also, maybe Shaq never intended to take possession of it. Maybe WCC or the Discovery Channel paid Shaq to appear on the show, and that's all he cared about.

Scot 09-22-2009 08:22 PM

now $43000 less.

Homeslice 09-22-2009 08:25 PM

Lmao

TYEster 09-22-2009 08:37 PM

Shucks if I had the money to waste.
