Nightster / Sporty Mirrors - Under Slung
Well with the intro of the 48 there's been a replaying of old style becoming new again. So yesterday I was riding the Nightster and was thinking up those under slung mirrors. Thinking... I wonder...
Sorry for junky phone pics... So here's stock, traditional placement http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...AxOTkuanBn.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...AyMDAuanBn.jpg Under slung http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...AyMDEuanBn.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...AyMDIuanBn.jpg I think it looks cool. Its different and will take some getting use to when riding. But still have great view behind me and maybe even a better view next to me in the blind spot zone. What ya think? |
I like the look of them below, but as a taller rider for me having them overhead might be more functional for me.
Nice... not sure if I like the looks, but if you can see well sweet.
I love the way it looks, but as far as it being functional, they really become useless for me.
They look fine either way to me.
I think below you they will offer you an great view of your elbows.
Nope. No elbows. Above the bars yes some elbow but not under.
Well being that its Uma's ride what does SHE think?:D
Not sure.

I like the looks of them better LOW. As long as they are still functional. If it hinders her rear view then I'd put them back up.
I like it
meh, i think it is overdone. every nighty out there has done this. i chose to get new, cooler mirrors instead.
there was a guy on my sporty forum that took the stock bars and turned them upside down. made the bike kinda look like a water buffalo or something with the curves of the bars sweeping downward. i thought that looked hella cool! definately not like the totally overdone apehangers everyone was getting. |
