July 2010 POTM: Submissions
 

This months theme, as chosen by Captain Morgan, is "Bikes and "Hooter's" Girls (can also be "Show Me's" girls, if no Hooters in the area)"



Rules are simple:

1.) Pic must be YOURS, either of you, or taken by you
2.) Pic must include a motorcycle in it
3.) Pic must be taken in the month of June 2010

Post em up!

Submissions will be taken through June 25th, 2010.

"Spice Rack" is also acceptable.

Yes, any "Hooters-esque" eating establishment is acceptable.

Well it is knoxville... It's a pretty good idea though. They should start popping up other places cause it looks like they got a chain idea in mind.

I think it depends on the theme...

Which goes with what I said. I haven't seen more contributions because of it at any time.

Not complaining, since I'm not really a picture taker. Just an observation.

So the themes should go. IMHO

I know this post is doomed, but i really dont see how taking pics of my bike w/ hooters girls is acceptable for those of us with long term relationships and wives. I have 2 of each, and all four of them are already complaining that i shouldn't be found in these sorts of establishments.

So, do we just get rid of the theme and tell people to just post up pictures taken during the month of June? I was thinking of going with "best rally pic" but thought that would eliminate a lot of people who weren't there. Figured everybody has a Hooters, Show Me's, whatever somewhat close, most of which have bike nights at some point during the month. Thought it would be easy.

Capt... your idea of hooters girls is easier than most... don't let your month of choice make you think that we don't like your thought process. It is golden. But lack of participation is the problem. It may be the previous months that burned people out on it.

I just wouldnt even go to a hooters so I gave up on this. If I had a say so July should always be rally picture month, especially with some of the photos we took. Other than July for rally photos (or another month where a board event happens, like the northern rally last year in september) there should be no theme.

my stitches come out in time, ill get a pic. maybe ill win with no competition lol

Alright....folks....be honest. Does anyone intend to submit a pic with this current theme? There are only 8 days left until the submission deadline.

I hate Hooter's; their food is horrible. And I'm not a big fan of bike nights. If I'm going to take my bike out, I'm going to ride it...not stand around and BS. Not enough free time for that. :idk:

The themes were a good idea. Just doesn't work for us cause we don't have enough participation .... if we had more members it may work... but the same five to eight people are the ones submitting every month... with only one or two exceptions per month
