Holy $#!t

My local BMW/Aprilia/Honda dealer is doing HOUR long demo rides on the S1000RR and the RSV4. Half hour on each bike through some really awesome roads that I ride all the time.

I just signed up. Probly gonna demo them this weekend. Fuck'n A.

These guys are good dudes. I used to buy shit from them when I had my Zuk. Anything non-Suzuki specific I would buy from them.

marko138 06-24-2010 12:13 PM

They have confirmed...I am in for this coming Saturday. :rockwoot:

fnfalman 06-24-2010 12:41 PM

Have fun!

azoomm 06-24-2010 01:24 PM

Dude, have a blast.

A hint - on the S1000rr, with the quick shift - make sure to give it gas while upshifting. The more gas, the smoother it is.

Take F'in pics!

About 5 minutes from my house.

Homeslice 06-24-2010 01:57 PM

Man, you guys out east get all the fun. Here, dealers don't bother doing stuff like this because they get enough customers anyway.

Not in the Northeast. Most of the dealers around here don't allow test rides.

Marko, you're a lucky bastard.

dReWpY 06-24-2010 02:12 PM

I hate you

Cutty72 06-24-2010 02:54 PM

That's awesome! I wanna play. But since I can't I'm with drewpy and the hating.

This is the first time I've known this dealer to do any kind of test rides.

This is the first I've heard of any dealer besides Triumph allowing demo rides. We have a shop about 30 mins from my house that will rent out 2-3 year old Moto Guzzis and Aprillias, though.

Trip 06-25-2010 09:32 AM

I demo the shit out of ducatis/ktms/bmws/aprilia/triumphs at my local dealership. There is a thread on here from when I demoed the S1000RR months ago. The exotic dealerships will usually let you test ride them if they got a demo bike in stock and our dealer likes to get demos.

The best part is they are solo demo rides, so there is no one with you besides the little devil on your shoulder screaming "faster."

This is why I have a GS, I demoed a GS at their dealership.
