Motorcyle goodies for me - Christmas present thread

This weekend we had our first Christmas event. Scored $100 from Motorcycle-Superstore. Just ordered an integrated tail light and some new grips.

What's everybody else gettin?

Trip 12-20-2010 02:18 PM

Spot tracker, I think thats the only moto related thing I am getting this year. I don't really have anything I want. I kinda need a longer gear shifter, but I probably will just buy it.

Gas Man 12-20-2010 02:43 PM

I didn't have any moto presents on my list. But not that it matters, I don't think anybody got me ANYTHING off my presents list. Usually I don't know what to suggest, as in I don't have a list. I usually just buy what I want so when xmas gets here, I have nothing to suggest. This year I purposely didn't buy some things I wanted, so I could suggest something. WHY? At this point I don't know, cause nobody got me any of my items. A bunch of crap I didn't need or want. Total loss!

ontwo 12-20-2010 02:47 PM

That's why I only ask for gift cards  I've already been told that I've got some coming from newenough

CasterTroy 12-20-2010 02:52 PM

Same here.....I usually get what I want myself because I know exactly what I'd like to have....as opposed to that Cliff Huxtable sweater

Got myself several sprockets and a chain set for the RMZ and some boots & helmet for dirt

fasternyou929 12-20-2010 03:16 PM

I'm torn between the GPX laptimer and a Starlane. GPX does everything I want, but a friend of mine that has one picked up fewer complete laps this season than I did with my Ultra-Lap.

Performance-wise, I'm going to continue running my bike as close to stock as possible. The original chain and sprockets may have to go soon though... 15k miles with about 40 track days have started to take a toll on them. On the other hand, I do sometimes wonder what suspension would do for me (about 240's fully geared up).

Nothing motorcycle related. We bought two 27" HDTV's from Amazon for different rooms in the house and upgraded those rooms from SD to HD.

We also just recently bought 2 acres in a community near the mountains and a boat slip at the neighborhood marina on a small lake here in NC. The lot is not actually on the water so that's why we got the slip. We just closed on it in December so that's Christmas I'm pretty sure.

No motorcycle gear for me this year. Had to go buy a new refrigerator last night... ours crapped out on Friday. Thought it was the relay again (which it was, as well)... but the compressor was completely fried too. Oh well... I get a new Rebel t2i DSLR as part of my kit when I start school, so I'll have that to keep me busy next semester. :D

 Well my grill isn't as nice as yours...that's been established.

We lucked up on a deal (I think anyways) back in October and it took until December to close on it so we're calling it Christmas.

Oops just saw this...

 Well we've been wanting to do something like this for several years and just happened to run across this. We actually wanted something further west in NC in the mountains and maybe a small cabin or something. :idk:

We don't have kids so that helps alot as many of you can relate to...as far as extra $$ to do stuff like this from time to time.

:lmao: Thanks, but that's not much of a consolation prize. I'll trade you, even up. :D
