No, it's not a bad song by Madonna...

Decided to give something a shot tonight since this is the first season I've actually had sufficient gear to pull it off...

It was pretty exciting to finally hear/feel that scrape. I'm sure if anyone was near the road they would have heard me yell.

This just makes me want to go play at the Track even more.

Particle Man 04-28-2011 07:19 PM

Fuck yeah :rockwoot:

Sixxxxer 04-28-2011 07:22 PM

Thanks. If it were done by a power tool, I would have really gouged it out good!

Yeah it was on the Honda.

When comparing my old VF to my current GS, the GS wins hands down simply for the fact it's in much better shape. The suspension on the VF was whipped. The GS's engine is still boring in comparison though. Kinda "Vanilla". That's saying something too since the VF's engine had about 4 times the Miles on it.

If they were both in good shape I would take the VF any day.

I thought this thread was going to be about your creepy uncle.

This is much better. Congrats.

RedRider2k2 04-28-2011 08:38 PM

Thanks.

I forgot to add something...

I did it on the shitty Shinko 005s that came on the bike when I bought it

Awesome, first kneedrags are a thing of beauty.

jtemple 04-29-2011 09:28 AM

Color me jealous. I've been riding for years and never had the opportunity. Now that no longer own a sportbike, it'll probably never happen.

I can say I've been covered in mud on my motorcycle, though. :)

Thought this was gonna be about prostate milking

RedRider2k2 04-29-2011 11:10 AM

Can't it be both?!

But you can't benefit from prostate milking, unless you aren't telling us something...ray  :lmao:

Are you high? What does prostate milking have to do with dragging knee for the 1st time?

And now the bike that made this possible is sold. Currently shopping for a replacement.

There's a very nice ZX12 for sale that's in great shape. My friend, who is a ZX12/14 fanatic, is really pushing for me to get this. I dont know though...After scuffing up that knee puck it might be tough to move to something like that. Sure I could still do it...But I think it would sure be a lot harder:idk::lol:

I had a ZX12r and I believe you can drag a knee just as easy since you have to throw the thing over quick. It's very stable, but don't go too hot into the corners.

That's one thing I noticed when I had a chance to ride his old 12.

It's not even that much heavier than most bikes either but it just looks so "Bulky"...For lack of a better term.

RedRider2k2 05-14-2011 07:28 AM

Well I decided to give it a shot. Another 12 popped up that I couldn't ignore.

05 in Black
Yosh RS3
Corbin seat
Bonus Hidden Power Commander I found after buying it
Oh and just a shade over 10,000 miles on it. I know guys with over 60,000 on their 2000 12s so it should hold together for a long time.

Loving it so far and I do think I can get a knee down on it too in time. Now if this month long rain storm can let up...

Ok maybe not that much harder:lol:

Having decent tires makes the 12 even more nimble than the 954 was:idk:
