talk about old life crisis
talk about late life crisis
'05 busa w/ 300mi http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/m...407279478.html i'm assuming thats the seller and rider thats alot of bling for a 70y.o. guy http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...usa2005012.jpg while you guys might not believe, beyond the bling there are ALOT of old seasoned riders on busa's. when i joined it 2 yrs ago, a guy was killed on his bike, dude was a WWII vet. |
Other than being a pretty awesome deal, yeh hehehehe, old life crisis
|
Went to get something sorted out on my bike today and there was an older guy on q goldwing there who had nO business being on a motorcycle. He looked like he wouldn't make a through a basic msf course.
On the other hand I've run across some old coots that ride a hell of lot better than most |
Looks more like early 60's, not 70
And I'd rather see an older guy spend money on his bike, than some 20-something who really shouldn't be wasting that kind of dough on a discretionary toy. |
My gramps is 80 is still rides more then almost anyone I know
|
I support this mans motorcycle assisted euthanasia.
|
I've seen some older riders that can smoke me through curves for sure.
|
that bike isnt meant for curvy roads. You can tell by the massive hard on he's hiding he's only got one thing in mind with that machine.
admit it you looked |

Umm, what does age have to do with the amount of money you make? I make 75~/yr, im not 30 yet. I think I damn well have the right to buy anything I want, as long as I can afford it. |

What makes it even more sad/amusing, is that more than half of the riders I've met ended up selling their bike only 1 year after installing all thier mods. I have no problem with someone spending a lot of money on something, as long as they keep it long enough to get some utility from it. |
Slam him all you want Ed, you're only 20 years and a couple hundred extra pounds from being him. I hope I'm still riding at his age.
There's not a lot of places to ride in DC and the traffic is horrendous, so he probably does little more than ride to bike gatherings where appearance > corner carving. |
Hmmm 5- 6 yo bike and 300 mi, do you qualify that as ' riding' ? , I guess you could.
Don't forget us Asians tend to look young for our age, so bet he's closer to 70 if not older. Who's slamming him |

The year before I got burned I made 71k. The year I got burned I had 34k made by June 1st. and just got a $2.20/hr raise a few months ago. I may make closer to 80 this year. |

I disagree completely. The time to enjoy yourself is when your young. The future isnt guaranteed. I live on a strict budget. I get paid every wednesday. I pay my bills for that week, and spend the rest. Fuck it. My pension is paid by the company, I have shares through work that I consider savings. The rest is expendable income. |

Sad that he made it ugly like 90% of Busa's out there.
When I was at the lodge in Oklahoma on my bike trip an older lady told us that here husband bought his first Harley when he turned 70. |
