Gear Deals...

ONSSP is looking for some gear so we can start riding in the next month or so (when it WARMS UP!). Finding gear for her is interesting because she's so small, but I've found some great deals on closeout stuff on MotorcycleCloseouts.com. Also found a helmet on New Enough that she really likes... Still want to shop around, but I was wondering if anyone has recently seen any amazing deals on women's gear online.

Shit, I could also use some boots too, but I'm rather cheap... Gotta be black and gotta support a wide foot... Not like circus freak wide, but just above normal.

NewEnough is closing out Sidi Vortice in black/blue black/red and white for 329

And Sportbike Track Gear is closing out TCX competizione S for 189 I think.

What does everyone think about those TCX boots? I know they are the new Oxtars and they are good for wide feet... But if I'm going to spend almost$200 on those, wouldn't it make sense to just buy some A* S-MX 5's for like $220.

I did find these, but wasn't sure about the quality.

I'm thinking about buyin the TCX gimmicks. Seem like just as good a boot as what I'm wearing now, if not a little better. (A* SMX3)

With some of the deals floating around I'd be very hesitant to spend 2 bills on TCX's.

I have seen Oxtars literally come apart on impact with the ground.

If you don't mind HJC, they're brooming out some for $59 and the premium (HJC, anyway) FS15 for under $150. On motorcycle closeouts I've seen a ton of XS helmets for fucking cheap and AXO boots on the cheap too. I'll sniff around and get back to you...what are her sizes?

note: if you go to http://www.compacc.com/c/Bargains_Sp...mall_Sizes.cfm

it's the small size bargain bin for Comp Ass

As far as we know, all of her sizes are XS... maybe a small in helmets.
