MSRP is $190 but if you call STG I'm sure you can get it cheaper.

I'll stick with my $50 Dianese special. Though I have been saying for years I'm gonna get a chest protector.

I wouldnt really call it chest protection, its impact reistant foam, big difference.

Looks pretty good, but I've never been a huge fan of alpinestars durability... I've gone through 3 sets of gloves now and they all wore out prematurely despite having very little crash damage. Same w/ the zippers on their boots, though I still love my Supertech R's.

For chest & back protection, I use this stuff: www.impactarmor.com

Custom fit, kinda molds to your body when warm, awesome impact resistance. I've crash tested it a handfull of times with a couple of highsides and a 110mph low-slide with about 20mph ending into a tire wall & have yet to even bruise a rib.

A little pricey, but his client list speaks for itself & I've been riding with the same set since 2005 now with no repairs.

FWIW, he's not a sponsor and he doesn't give me a dime to say stuff like this... I DID happen to get a group discount, but I'd buy again full price if I had to... I just REALLY like his product.

Actually... if you mention a guy from Tony's Track Days turned you onto it, he may still give you a discount. Worth a try!

Doesn't it look like it'd get hot?
