Procrastination?
Who likes to wait until the nicer weather, like now, to start on their mods or maintenance that they should have done over the winter?
|
I do sometimes if I don't get it done late fall. Winter is too cold without a heated garage, and early spring I'm usually busy fighting an impending flood.
Sadly, I get to do mods in summer this year, cause that's when I get back. |
I want to spend the warm weather riding, not wrenching. I bought a portable kerosene heater just for that purpose.
|
Not me. Winter is mod season. Either for the bike or the house. But I'm the anti-procastionator. I'm so not that its stupid.

I run upwards to 3 heaters in my garage during the "mod season".

I am kind of the procrastinator, but also ran out of time and am scrambling to get the priller up and going for commuting duty. It also doenst help owning multiple bikes and a new house. theres always some sort of project that needs to get done.

The few times I want to do mods, I do procrastinate. this year however I gave up doing it myself and a buddy at a local shop is hooking me up. Trying out a new front sprocket, cleared up a few lil issues I had and next week new sparks plugs to see if that takes care of it. I just dont have the time.

I was gonna respond to this thread yesterday but I put it off until today.
That answer your question? :D |
I procrastinated from doing a lot of needed things to the SV over the fall largely because I wasn't riding.. I was putting $ together to move, and I didn't want to get frustrated with it and be moving with my bike in a million pieces. But now I'm relocated.. and my procrastination is now coming in the form of "why don't you just buy your roomie's bike, then deal with the SV later?"
