Finally!!!
Alright, so it finally happened. I made the jump......
1999 Yamaha R6- Custom burnt orange paint, jetted, K&N filter, carbon fiber intake covers, double bubble windshield, Yoshi pipe, custom levers with bullets in them? 19k on the clock. Guy needed money for school bad, so i got it for a steal.... http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa309/jha85/r68.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa309/jha85/r67.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa309/jha85/r65.jpg http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa309/jha85/1.jpg One little blemish... look below and to the right of the bar end. Easily fixable with a pair of factory yamaha mid-fairings in that weird black color used on the R6 a year or two later. It'll look good. Disregard the girl.... she doesnt come with the bike.... http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa309/jha85/r66.jpg |

Yea its funny if you look at the pic with his friends R6 in it too. You can see the kickstand angle is different. I dont know if he did that or the original owner did. Cant you just tighten that up... i dont want it falling over. |
Congrats man, I know how long youve been waiting for this. Hopefully we can meet up this spring for a ride.

For sure, ill be up north alot in the summer. In grafton at my g-mas, and in port clinton at the lakehouse... Honestly i didnt need something this nice or fast. But this was such a steal I honestly could.... not..... pass this up! |
Thats the way to do it....find someone who HAS to get rid of the bike NOW...and take advantage. Thats how I got my Buell at such a steal. Congrats man. Be safe. Don't get crazy.

nice bike... looks like its missing the front turn signal lights.. are they integrated somewhere else...
|
Nice bike be sure to check the steering head near the steering stop they cracked real easy there if the bike hit the ground. I don't want to ruin your day but if its cracked you'll want it fixed before you ride much. When we raced them we would put the stick on lead weights on the steering stop just so it had some give and would not break as easy.
I hope yours is not broken but with the after market bodywork and paint job you should check it for your safety. |
