Glad you're alright! My 929 stator cover came apart like that in a low-side. Is the aluminum block behind still in-tact? Looks like it could be broken at the bottom. Mine broke there, making it impossible to match a new stator cover to it. For that reason alone, I had to part mine out.
You got 110k more out of yours than I did, though.
I thought I was doing good with my 7 year old 929 with 69,8xx miles on it!
