You also never know what section of the track this is. It could be an unpopular spot to watch. There are parts of Indy that are empty, and others that are full for the gp. We sat in what I thought was the second best section in the whole place, and there may have been 40 ppl in it. Yet other crappy spots were slammed full.
Yes its an exposure problem. There isn't alot of advertising dollars spent on moto racing. At the same time casual motorcycle fans aren't pulled in. someone like my mom who rides with her boyfriend woukd never go to a roadracing event because it's "stupid you can't see the whole track"
She would much rather go see a moto cross event.
