I'll answer with a picture. On my way to a children's charity ride in 07 after dumping the Bandit a few days before. The ride is about 90% chromed cruisers. I didnt fit in very well.
I rode the CBR naked for a couple of days to watch for leaks after having the engine apart as well.
If it's safe, it's safe.
