sturgis thoughts
Quote:
i might be able to hook with you for part of that trip. I was planning on riding out that way next year. not really staying in sturgis though just passing through for a day and riding out through ND,MT,WY, and NE on the way back. Not too many folks around here want to go with because it is just a riding loop not really looking to stay around anywhere for too long. |

alright!!! it's way too early in the morning to be screwing with people like that. LOL picked the thread and see messages from the other.
gas - yeah chi is a 1 1/2 hr from me and really if you're going through on 90 it's not far from my house at all. 600 a day sounds reasonable although i haven't done it on this bike. I have many times on my triumph sprint, cbr, and a zx6r so this shouldn't be bad. no worries - those are valid points and i had considered it that way, but i do kind of want to see the rally as well. i have done a couple other large rallies and yeah it tries your patience at times but it also brings a different sense of comraderie as well. ebbs - you have to edit that, it leaves way too many jokes about your girl and your dead wood available. I definitely want to do Sturgis one day...looks like a blast. I've done Daytona several times...Myrtle Beach a few times as well and Laconia, NH once but NEVER Sturgis.

600 isnt bad. Can do that in ~9hrs. But if all you are doing is riding... push it out to 12hrs. Longer break and shit... |
