Sleepy Animals
No matter what time of the year, or time of the day, the animals at the zoo seem to be sleeping. I swear they are no different than the three felines who occupy the house. Of the half a dozen times we have been to the zoo I have never seen a red panda move (other than his head to face away from me), never seen a wallaby that wasn't laying down, and the only active cheetahs are the ones back in the runways that can't come out (they only allow two cats out at a time). Anyway, here are a few pics from our May 25, 2008 visit.
