A service manual will tell you what size chain you need.

A quick google search tells me your chain is a 520 and the rear sprocket is 42T.

520 is not the length. I THINK its the width or strength..

I dunno. When I bought the chain for my bike, I just told them what size it was and they gave me a chain. I had to take a couple of the links out. NOTE: I didn't replace the chain myself. A friend did.

I looked again and it seems the 520 chain typically comes with 110 lengths. A service manual should tell him the exact number of links he needs.

I'm stil searching the exact number of links.... or at least a PDF link for a manual for his bike....

I doubled checked the service manual. Apparently it is a 525. The other appears to be for a conversion. My bad.

Check out the service manual in the link I posted. It says the chain is an RK525ROZ4 110 links.
