What state do you think is the best for motorcycle riding?
Just curious what state would get your vote for having the best roads for motorcycling?

My area, period............The Appalaichans might have a few tighter roads, but the road surface is more beat-up compared to out here.

Texas.
Hill country. Between that, and the 7 tracks within an easy few hours drive.... Done. |

florida is ok if you enjoy a lot of long straightaways and a very small number of actual corners.
I'd say anywhere its warm on average 50+% of the year. |

overall, um anywhere but Illinois. lol We do have a few decent roads but even when there are decent corners and stuff you end up with gravel and crap on the road. The winters up here are murder on the roads! Ive never really ridden any other states except Wisconsin which has some real nice twisties and excellent scenery but again the winters tear up roads around here. My vote is for anywhere warm!!!

I have no idea what other states are really like. Most of the good roads are more of a back road where a tourist wouldn't travel, unless with someone who knew where they are going.
Ohio isn't horrible once you get toward the south eastern part of the state. Just the weather sucks. |
