Did my first long ride yesterday
I left Pensacola around 5am yesterday morning and ended up 600 miles south at my parents house 11.5 hrs later. Before now I've done a few 400 mile days but never this far. I stayed on backroads for the most part and really enjoyed myself. Looking foreward to the trip back on a different route.

I think my iPod and etymonics were the livesavers on this trip. I made a couple large setlists and it made the trip really nice. My ears were a lttle sore from the earbuds after 11hrs. But, it was better than wind noise.

I think tomorrow I am making a trip up to St. Louis from here, about 300 miles the way we have planned out, and back just to get white castle in the middle, and to practice up a little bit for the iron butt here in a month and a half.
