"Damn this ride is fun. Oh shit, turn bitch turn. Oh shit, I'm sliding. Oh shit, I'm sideways. Oh shit, I'm definitely crashing. Oh shit, I'm falling. Oh shit, where the fuck is the ground ? I was supposed to hit the ground like 15 feet ago. How the fuck did I manage to go through that hole? Then again, I'm glad for the hole, because hitting that tree would've hurt."

as much as that had to suck it looks like he was better off.... I'm just trying to figure out why the guy riding with the camera wiped out.

The "I need to stop right this instant" reaction. Coupled with the "I don't worry about laying it down and cracking fairings on my non-faired sm.

Looks like he had some target fixation going for a second. By the time he started turning he ended up with his rear wheel in the dirt causing him to loose the back end. Sucks for both, but it could have been much worse.

Holding a camera in my hand while mountain biking with my buddy and his family I hit a root (at very low MPH) and managed to rotate the camera up while crashing so I didn't hit it in the ground. If the hole wasn't there I wonder how bad he would have gotten it?
