Default Do you have something to say? Are you creative?

How about funny? Smart? Anything that you might want to put on the internet?

Do you just want to test your sarcasm? Want to share your information or just little tidbits of your crazy life perspectives with the rest of the world?

Well, I had this idea for a website while running today. If you are like me, you go to at least 4 or 5 normal web sites throughout the day. My favorites are engadget and gizmodo (tech), cracked.com (humor) and kotaku.com (gaming). What if there were one place with everything? I envision a place with multiple writers/contributors on multiple topics. I was thinking stuff like:

Tech
How-Tos
Motorcycling
Home Improvement
Comedy/Satirical posts
News

If you want to be a part of this, let me know. I think it could be pretty cool if it is done right. I don't have much web design experience, but I don't want to do it in flash. Primarily because I hate flash and secondly because I don't like my visitors to have to allow scripting in order for the page to be viewed properly.

So, what do you all think?

I've already registered a domain for this little project: www.craniumcabi.net

Could be cool, but could get really out of control, fucked up, and unmanageable. You don't want to have a category for everything, but if you take a generic approach it's harder to attract and maintain a core group of visitors... Bottom line, focused simplicity wins out over mammouth complexity every time. Narrow the focus to build the community.

Agreed. Or each contributor has their own section.

I don't know how I want to set it up yet...

Or have it so it can be filtered either way; if people have a specific author they want to follow, they can filter it that way... but if people just want to surf a specific topic, then have it organized by categories.
