Now THIS is asian discipline
On December 18th, 2008, a 10 year-old 5th grader named Chao Qun Zheng went to his elementary school in HeNan, China. When his teacher, Guo, found out that young Zheng had not completed his homework, she flipped out. “She was very angry at the time,” he said. “She ripped and twisted my cheeks with both her hands and then she lifted me off the ground.” The teacher held the boy up until one of his cheeks actually ripped off and the boy was bleeding profusely. Without hesitation the teacher reached down and picked up Zheng’s cheek skin, put it on his face, and instructed the boy go home immediately. When the parents saw Zheng, they immediately took him to the hospital where it took 52 stitches to have his cheek sewn back on. Zheng’s father has reported the case to the police and is expected to press for damages. http://www.weirdasianews.com/2009/01...ts-cheek-skin/

And that's why Asian kids usually do well in school.
We used to get the living shit smacked out of us for any minor infractions. And there was no A, B, C, D, F grades either. It was all rankings. If you're the top dog, then you're #1, #2, etc. By American standards, you could be holding an A grade but still dead last. I was always #2 or #3 and one time I slipped down to #5. I was so scared to go home because I had dishonored the family name.

His cheek was ripped off??? *shudder* Maybe said teacher should consider a new career. Perhaps as an opponent for Mike Tyson?? Yikes.

Yeah they get all A's and still copy everything. A's don't mean squat IMO. It means you can usually memorize worthless crap.

Nah, that shit wouldn't happen in China... They have actual discipline over there and don't coddle kids to the point where they cannot handle being picked on. Chinese kids aren't pussies.
