Default Buellers... ASSEMBLE!

Non-Buellers will not give a shit.

My Drummer SS arrived yesterday. Took a little under 2 hours to install. When it was all done, I thumbed the starter in anticipation, wondering if all the money and hassle was worth it. And then it fired up...

OMFG! This is the best sounding twin I have ever heard. And I didn't even take it out of the shed because of the rain.

Just from blipping the throttle I could tell the stocker was way too restrictive.

I hope the rain lets up today, I want to hear this thing roar.

pfft, don't let a little rain stop you from taking it out! BTW, I'm a non-buell owner and still care

I didn't. I took it out anyway.

I can't get over how good it sounds. I'm going to have to get it mapped after I do a few more little things to it to get rid of decel popping.

Aside from that, Buell has a shitty exhaust valve set up you can feel the bike stutter when it shifts from one path to the other. That's completely gone. So, any time you whomp on the throttle it instantly gets going.

The biggest complaint I had about my bike was how rough it ran in the lower revs and how it would rev too slowly anywhere below 3k. That's gone too. Feels like it pulls from a solid 5-700 revs sooner. (which is what Drummer claims)

Next I'm going to route the crankcase vents/breathers out of the airbox and throw in a K&N.

Hopefully I can get that done this week.

Damn right man. I absolutely LOVE my Drummer...as I have said before. It just sounds so mean.

I've also got the K&N...and I'm gonna do the breather re-route soon.

DRUMMER FUCKING RULES.

The restrictive part of our exhaust is the can, not the header.

So I got a slip on, that's the equivalent to a full system.

Beson made a full system that was handmade. But, it was about 1500 IF you could convince him to make one.

Micron had a full system that was somewhat pricy as well, and both of them were less than or equal the drummer in performance.

American sportbike did a buell exhaust shootout where they ran all the pipes on 2 bikes on the dyno. You can download it from their site. They have full dyno charts, decibel readings, etc.
