I'd do exactly as she did.......
Just cuz someone lost it doesn't mean they WANTED to lose it, or that someone else has the right to claim it. |

Hard question to answer.
I honestly don't know what I'd do

I'd turn it in... hope for a reward.... but the cost of my conscience would be too much for me to just take it...

Exactly.

First, I'd figure out who it belonged to.
If it was a large corporation, I'd keep it because that is ok. If it were a private individual, I'd justify it until it seems ok, then I'd keep it. I'd post on message boards that I'd do / I did the right thing. I always do the right thing, online. |

It probably belongs to the bank if its in a bag and for that sum of money, so being that my tax dollars are keeping them afloat anyway, i'll be tempted to take a few hundred dollars but yeah i would turn it in and pray for a reward!

I'd "borrow" the money for a while. I'd go to the store and buy beer for say $4/6 pack. I'd find a person on welfare, sell them the beer for say $25 in food stamps/6 pack, then I'd take those food stamps and sell it to a single mom with 10 kids at $10 for every $20 worth of food stamps. I just doubled my money and I'd give the original amount back to the rightful owner if I could find them.

My biggest issue would be that some Armored Truck employee or bank employee is now going to be fired for losing $120K
Maybe it belongs to the bank and they suck, but some person was responsible for that and could lose their job over it. And could possibly be accused of stealing it. |
