The operator of the Best Gore website has been changed with corrupting morals, by Edmonton Police, for posting the video that showed Luka Magnotta killing Jun Lin.

Yup, it's still a charge, but rarely used these days. It's the sort of thing used to nail people who traffic in snuff films, though the text of it implies that you could have the authors of GTA charged.

For example: "(8) For the purposes of this Act, any publication a dominant characteristic of which is the undue exploitation of sex, or of sex and any one or more of the following subjects, namely, crime, horror, cruelty and violence, shall be deemed to be obscene."
