Not talking about US Services, and the impact on us. Do you think the rape, murder, imprisonment, torture rate went up or down since saddam, left power?

Even at the worst point in iraq security the average iraqi had a better chance of survival than during saddams reign. He really was a bad man, and the country was a labels place for those in charge, meaning that they didn't obey the laws.

The only difference? We have a pretty open society where reporters are not told what to report on, so they go are headline news. Rape! Torture! Death!

Under saddam it was Saddam is great! The party is great! 99% of the population voted for Saddam again!

Im calling BS on that one. Saddam was evil but he did have control of his country. People were free to worship whoever they wanted and women could work and go to school. There wasnt sectarian mass murder.

no one is saying you shouldn't have a job......or that we didn't accomplish a lot of good things in Iraq.......But I don't think those accomplishments were worth ~4,000 American deaths and trillions of dollars
