I love how they don't use a track. They just close off the streets and race there.

Good stuff! Thanks for posting it, Riceaholic.
I've searched on Youtube for videos of these races before, but I must have been doin' it wrong, because I never found this guy's uploads. He's got lots more to watch, too. Wild racing, for sure. Close passes and drafting at crazy speeds, packs of bikes four wide all vying for the lead, and a hair-raising finish. All on paint-striped closed roads lined with curbs, walls, lamp- and signposts, spectators, and other nightmares. One of my goals is to race in a "real" road race someday, but a nagging paradoxical snag seems inevitable--If I actually had the success and financial wherewithal to go racing overseas, I might actually value my life too much to try it. Then again...maybe not. -S |

AWESOME to watch, but if Im gonna go racing I prefer somewhere with MUCH bigger run offs. Curbs + Racing=nasty crash! LOL Some of those places they are just FLYING and theres trees like five feet away! thats butt puckering!

Awesome, real road racing is awesome. I am going to go watch the IoMTT one day and hopefully ride on the day that it's open to the public.
