Just be glad you're flying domestic.

I flew in to Atlanta on the way back from Germany. It was the most retarded fucking thing I've ever seen.

1. Exit plane.
2. Passport Control.
3. Pick up luggage.
4. Customs.
5. Re-check luggage.
6. Security checkpoint (just like when you got ON THE FUCKING PLANE!!!)
7. Pick up luggage again (two miles away).

To make matters worse, my wife asked the mother-in-law to send me home with some Gyros spice, since the stuff available here is crap. She wrapped it up in foil, like a brick of bad Mexican pot. I thought I was going to be explaining that shit for hours, but the chick in front of me smelled like anchovies or some damn thing, and Sparky the customs wonder dog was all over her ass.

That's what happens when you book city to city with different airlines.

My stop from Columbus to Sarasota next thursday is in Atlanta.... yay.

But both flights are delta, and the layover is very short...

Same as above a few years ago...except that there was a hurricane in Florida, as we were going through one of the areas a worker asks if we have a connecting flight, tell him we are going to West Palm - he say no you aren't couldn't get home and had to stay in ATL overnight and most of the next day. After being gone 10 days and a 12 hour flight - not what I wanted to hear.

Nope. Munich to Atlanta non-stop.

I'm still there. Been there since 5pm last night with a brief hotel stay for a shower.
