I thought something was wrong with the one I was riding...kept getting hotter and hotter and then realized I had the hand warmers on high !! The previous person had left them on.

Told you I was a rookie.

hahaha - we rode with someone on a Yamaha last year that had a short in the switch and couldn't turn the thumb warmer off - she had a blister on her thumb by the time we got back

Sure is! That's why it was cheaper

Is it winter yet?

Your right, I forgot they made a 500liquid, I rode the 1100 4 stroke, and saw the 570 in action. Arctic cat needs to stop making so many models of the same machine, they should drop the 570 fan engine configuration altogether.

Is it winter yet???????

Unfortunately, they dropped the 500 Liquid for 2010 (one of the reasons I bought a 2009 holdover). As a matter of fact, the 570 fanner is the only 2-stroke left in the touring sled lineup for 2010.

Rumor has it they'll be dropping more and more of their 2-stroke models as time goes on because of tighter EPA regs (at least here) in favor of 4-strokes.

Ya, they dropped the 500 liquid and brought in a new 85hp sport class 500 and put it in the best race chassis theyve ever built, ignoring what everyone wanted, that chassis with a 600 or 800 powervalved, HO Engine...

Leave it to AC to fuck a perfect sled chassis with a shitty engine.

Yeah, they cut almost 20 hp from the 500cc motor when they removed the power valves from the design.

I wasn't thrilled about that... we went with a touring sled this time around because of the little one. At some point I'll probably get something larger.
