You don't have to pass the MSF course to buy a bike or get a motorcycle endorsement so how is she going to lose her deposit? Whether or not she passes, she can still buy her bike buddy!

haha, hopefully she's smarter than me.

The ONLY, and I seriously mean ONLY time I've ever operated a motor vehicle while I was drunk I had left my ZRX1200R in the front yard and decided I needed to put it in the garage.

Knowing I was drunk I decided I was going to be very very careful. So I eased her in there (fully loaded with 200lbs of camping gear because I was leaving for a multi-month motorcycle trip the next couple of days), hit the kill switch and went to set her down.

Only I forgot to put the kickstand down and SLAM!!! There I went into a pile of glass Xmas ornaments. Cut the shit out of my hand, lol. I was trapped under my bike 'til my buddy came outside to see where the hell I went.

Are you guys serious or are you just bagging on Tigger because he's Tigger. Come on man...

I was on my second bike by the time I signed up and took the MSF course and we bought my girlfriend's long before MSF and taught her to ride it in the back yard.

Its NOT that big a deal, if she wants to buy it before hand.

Personally, if I had to do it all over again I'd make absolutely SURE I had a motorcycle prepped and ready to go so I could go riding on graduation day.

Hey how is the food at Joe E Garcia's? Maybe I'll swing down there and get a burrito!

Is that like when your deposit becomes unrestrained or unfastened?

Its shit, I hate that place. Its always an hour long wait and I make better Mexican food than they do, plus the small (but strong) margaritas are $7 a piece and the food isn't exactly budget...though it tastes like they use budget meat.

This is Fort Worth, TX and there are a lot better places to get Mexican within a 2 mile radius of Joe T's.

People go there for the name, the atmosphere and the tons of smoking hot chics.

The MSF Nazi and the Gear Nazi mindset,
You can't buy a bike unless you take the MSF and you can't ride a bike unless you have on full gear.

Well guess what? Yes you can! I went the extra mile and talked her into this course, mostly because I don't want to teach her and I talked her down from a 600... I'm done at this point. If she doesn't pass the course for some reason I'm sure that she'll get the bike anyway and I'll try to teach her to ride as best I can.

HA, I rode my GSXR 750 to the MSF course (no license and probably only a helmet for gear) ....and the only reason i took it was you got your license at the end AND more importantly the Ins discount. I was 17 and too stupid to know any better then.....

At least she's taking it and starting out on a good sized bike for a newbie...so she's already a step ahead of where most of us started.
