I ended up picking up a sony dsc w230.

It's got some decent features, is small, has a nice size 3" screen so taking shots while riding may be easier. Can't wait to test it out. I took some shots, but I don't have a nifty card reader yet, still waiting for it to show from the ebay purchase. Battery is charging so can't pull it off the camera through cable yet either. That's the only thing I didn't think about. I like regular battery cameras where you don't have to worry about batteries dying when you can just buy more and the sony card instead of the normal SD cards...

It takes some decent shots though.
