Sidecar plans?
Has anyone ever seen plans for a side car bike? Along the lines of the photo below

You might as well be asking for plans of the 2010 Ferrari F-1 car.
Here's something at least... http://www.lcr-sidecar.com/0492fb99e30dbae02/index.html All you need is a hacksaw, some duct tape, and a billion dollars. JC

I have a mini (and I mean mini) sidecar I can give you measurements off of if you want.
My kid and I used to ride it pretty regularly, but now it mostly sits in the garage. |

Appreciate it but no thanks, I was really looking for a full sized steel truss frame set of plans

Ha! Haven't seen one of those in a little while.
It's a long story, and it involves a third party, Italians, importation, theft (and thieves), and the Chinese...but I am (indirectly) responsible for that.

While not the larger, fullsized sidecar hacks pictured in the first post, nor the smallest, "minimoto" sidecars pictured in Defector's post, a collection of the largest group of racers and fabricators of sidecars that slot somewhere in the middle (yet are still referred to as "mini") can be found in the UK on a forum.
These are SERIOUS sidecar guys (and gals), and they could probably put you in contact with valuable build info regarding making a hack of your own. http://www.minimotoclub.co.uk/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=24 Good luck. BTW, sidecar racing is the second most fun thing you can do that involves your GF (if she's crazy enough) and leather.
