Ice is definitely a limit, tho- like heading through Flagstaff in March, watching all the snow melting into the roads in the last of the afternoon, sun, then seeing the temperature tick down into the low 30s... yeah, I think I'll be staying here tonite. I'll also take the truck if the heat index is supposed to break 100 degrees... that's why I paid the big bucks for a vehicle with air conditioning. I guess you could say that riding with groups is also a limit... won't keep me from riding, just from riding that stretch of road at that particular time.

A broken leg or a broken hand might keep me from riding. Seriously, that's it.
I've ridden in 116 degrees in Arizona in summer. I've spent 4 days in 38 degree temps in Canada. I've ridden the Pacific Coast highway where it's a windy biatch. I've put more miles on my bike after the sun goes down than alot of people have put on their bike altogether. Hell, I've ridden in snow in Colorado and hail in Wyoming. I guess we all have different tolerances for weather.

I severely pulled a muscle in my neck about 2 yrs ago, think of the muscle that would prevent a bobblehead from bobbling and you get the picture. Anyway, since then on extended rides I get tight and have muscle spasms, anything over 300 miles becomes a painful ordeal, if not for that I could ride forever I feel. It continues to get better but not quite the same just yet.

I use to think that too....it's amazing what just WET GRASS will do to your perspective of how bulletproof a motard actually is

Anything below 60F unless I'm commuting to work.
