I'm not a big Miata fan even though I know they are decent little cars and can be made to handle really well.
As far as the Solstice...well I like the Saturn Sky better and of course like the Turbo better than the N/A but for $8k...I can see why someone would consider it. The neighbor has one and they seem to really enjoy it. |

Dressy/dark jeans though, yeah I own a couple....... They're good for wearing on a date, or to the office on casual Friday. I find it hard to believe that you guys would wear beat-up Levi's under those circumstances. |

Seriously, im sure Miatas are fun. But they do look girlish, and I couldnt get my size 15 boot in those cars, let alone the rest of me!

You guys talk about the Miata like it's some kind of wonder car. I've driven one(a brand new one in 2003) on more than 1 occasion and it was severely under powered. It reminded me of a high school friends 67 Fiat Spider with a little better handling but no more power.

Little cars are for roads like Deals Gap. No power needed just a slick box and some momentum. I have always preferred 2+2 coupes like the 'Stang and Camaro so you can power out. To each his own. For 8K i am looking for a bike for playing on. Sometimes cheap toys can fill the need tho...
