There are a lot of things being said now that people are going to wish hadn't been, in a month or two. It's best to leave those things unsaid. |

How many of the most vocal (people who post daily - not vocal as in bitching) users on CF dont have an account here now? *shrug*

Some of the mods not only moderate, but are substantial contributors. Once they figure out that they've been used and screwed over, it would be nice if they felt like they had a refuge to go to. No?

we do not discriminate based on your previous rank or cool kid status...
just dont be a douche here and all is good... "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to postwhore freely, the wretched VS. refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the forumless, bullshit-tossed to me. I lift my cursor beside the golden reply key." |

I like teasing stew about vbulletin. I didn't know anything about the software until I started this board and really still don't know much about it, but he was trying to write stuff off as they don't know how to integrate it in their package and I was giving him step by step instructions just like one of your members did and he would come back and say it's a "security risk." Basically anything they really don't want to do is called a "security risk."

DB export, when it's as massive as the one over at CF and may contain data from various hacks, can cause a bit of an issue. some of the things happening are undoubtedly genuine issues. Others are not. Until the dust settles, the people who haven't seen this before won't be able to tell one from the other.
