so we live in a neighborhood that has a baseball diamond and soccer field.

a team as been playing on the diamond and leaving garbage and such and they are not authorized to play. and i don't think any kids actually live in our neighborhood.

recently had a HOA meeting and they are going to put a sign up, "so-n-so residents ONLY"

this past weekend, neighbor noticed the team and called the cops, cop came and told him that it was "public property" and that anybody could come and play as long as there was no gate or lock.

thoughts?

or start fining them for littering, HOA's love doing shit like that.

or... get the sand out of your vagina and let the kids play ball

Are these people you can talk to??? Can someone say to them (nicely at first) "pick up your trash or we'll put up a gate? Dose your HOA have the right to put up a gate???

thats all fine and dandy till the guys w/ the 4 wheelers roll up and start tearing up the soccer field where "we" just put in a sprinkler system. like they did last weekend.

HOA can't fine a team i don't think, they have no real jurisdiction past the property lines.

have anything to really add?

i think it's private, we put in the sprinkler system

the pool next to the diamond is gated and people just can't walk into there.

find out who the owner of the property actually is and that person can do something about it.

So let me get this straight. You build a field and they come.

if it's past the property lines then it's public and you guys should not spend cash to put sprinklers in. second off i thought this was about kids throwing trash on a baseball diamond. if you see the atv's call the cops
