I picked up his gear yesterday and we rode aroung the yard. He chose the black himself. It looks good. THe bike was just 2 bills off craigslist. A little tune up and its running. I slowed it down and put on the training wheels that also came with it. Now have to wait for a nice day again.

My parents would have never allowed anything close to this. My kids on the other hand will reap the benefits of me being the outcast in my family.

That is awesome. The only reason I want a kid is so I can have a son who is racing by the time he's 14. I'm watching WSBK Spain Race 2 right now and they just said that haga started riding pocket racing bikes at age 4, and you can see how good he is now.
