F'in Miserable.
Can I just take a moment to bitch about the heat? Its hot out there. Really hot.
Showing 101 locally, but feels like about 168. Got sunburned this morning from being shirtless outside for about 30 minutes. Granted, I'm a big ol' whitey. We're supposed to be at 103 tomorrow and I'm supposed to be grilling outside for a bunch of people...yea, that's gonna be awesome. Just got a new m/c...too hot to ride. My son just learned to ride a bicycle...too hot to ride. Just got him a dirtbike...too hot to work on it...and even if it ran: too hot to ride. Grass is dying. Bricks are melting. Cats and dogs, living together, pandemonium. One positive for me though....my house is 100% covered in thickly leaved trees so we're in the shade. I guess that helps with the a/c and electric bill ________ Mercedes-Benz C111 Last edited by Kaneman; 05-09-2011 at 09:16 PM.. |

At least you have trees. They cut 'em all down here in KS.
We've had heat index of 103 this week, too. |

I wouldn't know, but I been laid up in bed for the last 3 days. I dont know if I had the flu or what, but i feel like I been hit by a mac truck and ran a fever and about hacked out a lung. Finally starting to feel better.

nah, my family brought some nasty bug from Florida back with em when they went to disney world. They were all sick when they came back and were gracious enough to pass it on to me.

It's possible. I ran a pretty good fever for awhile yesterday. Every muscle in my body was sore like the flu. Kinda felt like the flu, but it's been awhile since I had the flu so I don't remember so much, but this is the worst I been sick in awhile.
