Is there any difference???
So i bought some rotors off Ebay for an 06-07 GSXR 750 to put on my 05 GSXR 1000, they look the same but have different part numbers?? A year or two ago i had rotor trouble and took the wheel off my buddies 07 750 and put on mine to see if that was the problem and it worked fine on my bike, so will the different part number make any difference , are they the same or is there some other difference and if so , will it matter?
here's a couple of pics of each model

Possibly the bolt layout on the inner diameter? It is also quite possible that the original brake rotor had a defect which they corrected and gave it a new part number.

well the front wheels on both models have the same part number, so i would have to assume the bolt pattern would be the same(not being a smart ass, i just now looked it up to see) so bolt patterns must be the same, outer diamater is the same, so i'm thinking they will work?

The difference might only be the pattern.
