I have an electronic cigarette store, so if any of you vape or know anybody who does, send them my way and if you're ever in Tulsa stop by the actual store. We've got the best looking employees in town. www.designatedvaping.com |

Not even close.
A burning tobacco cig has 4,000 chemicals in it. 59 of which are known to cause cancer. An e-cig has three chemicals - propylene glycol, which is used in thousands of house-hold chemicals already including asthma inhalers - food grade (candy) flavoring, which is of course safe for consumption - and liquid nicotine, which studies have shown is just about as harmful as caffeine. None of those three chemicals are known to cause cancer. When you put that on top of the fact that you will get your sense of smell and taste back, breathe better, and everything you own will no longer stink like cigarettes and it makes for an honest to goodness life changing experience. I'm not just saying that either, I truly believe it. I've talked to plenty of other former smokers who will tell you the exact same thing. |

I guess I didn't hear about that one. A google search for msnbc and electronic cigarettes just pulls up a bunch of different articles on the popularity and use of e-cigs.

That was menthol cigarettes that they were saying crystallize your lungs, not e-cigarettes.

FDA does not like...
http://www.fda.gov/newsevents/newsro.../ucm173222.htm Don't get me wrong, these are better than cigarette's, but you just can't beat not doing anything like this at all. Kicking nicotine or never starting it would be much better for your living quality. Last edited by Trip; 05-07-2012 at 10:10 AM.. |

E-cigarettes are awesome! They made quitting smoking so much easier for me. And if you don't want to quit they smell better, are cheaper and healthier than the real thing.
I used them for about a year, and about 3 months after I quit completely I went and had a completely athletic/lung function test done at a local University (UTA). My VO2 Max was 57 (about the same as a college athlete, I'm 30) and my lung elasticity was excellent. Krabill, I have a buddy who is a distributor for E-cigs in the DFW area, if you're selling your own product I'd be happy to hook you guys up.
