Home Improvements (cable will even die...NO REALLY I SAID IT WILL DIE!!!)
As stated in my entertainment thread I will be doing some home upgrades. Talking about spending some major cash out on it... but the changes will ROCK.
So first up... siding, trim, gutters, ect... Well I have been tied up getting estimates on siding, trim, and gutters. I went thru a few contractors and went with this guy. The work is by far some of the best if not the best I have ever saw. We went with siding on the gables and the back. Vynal cedar shake on the front of the garage and the front porch. Alum trim throughout, including the amazing tripple bend trim on non-gutter edges. Not to mention the oustounding frost board and header board above the garage. All that great alum trim is hand bent in my driveway on a break. Simple incredable! The one pic of the down spout shows my new setup. The way it is in the pic into the PVC for winter time, so I don't have any ice on the walkway and driveway, then I slide off the flex hose and attach the other one with the elbow during spring/summer/fall months. All the gutters are seamless with each joint sealed up tight on the inside and hung with screws, not nails. You all should check it out in person and welcome me to the non-painting or maintance world of new siding. Please if you need any type of work like this, stone, brick, windows... give Mike a call. Before: Strip off old: Progress being made More insolation foam Framing out the windows this time |

Looks good. I was just thinking that you needed to paint the garage door, but yeah, you'll prob have to wait till spring.
My parents have the same type awning over their deck, but it's just a solid creme color. It was sort of a bitch to install, but I managed. I do most of their home improvement work. Siding isn't too difficult and hanging gutter is pretty easy. I love seamless gutters!! It looks like those guys did a nice job on the house. I much prefer the lighter colors over darker ones. |

Gas you should try to find a place to make you a stained glass window featuring a motorcycle for your garage... seriously that'd rock... the flower or what ever is kinda...

I think I like the original better IMO. I hate aluminium siding.

Looks good. You might be the only guy in America spending that kind of money right now.
