oh and yeah Colorado is much better than MS... but you'd save your Perdiem usually around $100 a day... by stay'n with me... and you'd have transportation... but up to you.

First, you forget the diff between Active Duty and AGR.
I would have to be put on DTS orders to recieve travel/per diem. Not going to happen for a voluntary surgery.
Second. I don't have a "base" I'm on TriCare Remote, meaning I use local civilian hospitals. Don't know if that would work or not.
And most places say you have to get a checkup every year or they won't be responsible for anything if you miss that checkup.
As for transpo, I'd get a rental. It's reimbursable

Lastly... HOLY SHIT where are you going to get $100/day in per diem!?!?!
The MOST I've ever gotten was $48/day. (Maybe because I already get BAS/BAH)

Anyway, it's something I'll have to figure when I get back.
