So the hubs and I just finished dinner and started hearing all these loud booming sounds. We realize it is fireworks. Since they canceled the 4th of July fireworks (wild fires burning at the time) I guess they decided to put on a show tonight

We usually get a post card in the mail (since we are really close to the park) saying when they are going to do it...none this time.

So we hopped in the car, drove down to the next block and watched them from our bumper. Wish we would have known before hand since it is always nice to just walk to the park to watch.
