That's why I love the 750 so much. Best of both worlds. The ergos are good enough to ride long distances(a full tank of gas) without stopping. Broad power band for street riding but plenty of power for squiding it up. If you want to spend 8-9K you can get a used 848 if you like the feel of a v-twin.

not into cookie cutter bikes........all these bikes are beyond my/yours limits, so "how" fast isn't a big deciding factor to me.......

though gsxr750 is a VERY soild all around bike......and has entered my mind.
