Had to happen!

So the weather here in New Hampshire and my schedule finally align so I can Take the 999 out, So after turning on to the paved road (yes the directions to my house include turning off of the paved road thank you Mr. Foxworthy) I remember that I havenâ€™t checked the tired and that they are cold so I put-put down to the local gas station where I give her the first fill up of the season check and fill the tires . As I turn back on to the road I think the tired are warm enough I will lean into it a little bit and I am quickly at 75 and am backing off when who appears coming the opposite direction but a very nice police officer. I was already on the brakes before he crested the hill but alas soon my mirrors were filled with blue and I was parked side the road. The kind officer admired my bike, noted that 62 in a 30 was a bit much, then chose to give me a written warning rather than a ticket. I thanked him and rode on home. SO the season begins.
