I kinda gotta dissagree with you on this one. Microsoft has been going after Apples big toys alot over the last 5 years, although they really havnt done as well as they had hoped they have still been trying. For example, Ipod vs Zune, Iphone vs WinMo 7, Ipad vs (future)Win7 Tablets. Google is a much more aggressive rival that microsoft is though with and has made much more headway, especially with android phones and the upcoming android tablets. Even the Android marketplace is just as useful as the Apple app store, even though android doesnt have nearly as many applications, how many of the apple apps are really worth the download? Same with android.
