BTW, I disagree on the 2g protein/lb weight loss approach you mentioned. I'd do something like that because I'm trying to maintain muscle and cycle some carbs. But since Triple doesn't care about maintaining a man like physique of any kind, if he just goes into a calorie deficit he'll wind up pretty skinny eventually. It's happened to me before.
I would suggest 1.5 times if he isn't lifting heavy. 2.0 is overkill, but it isn't going to hurt.
